I'm running a 600/smite build in the Underworld Hard Mode trying to farm. I was wanting to know if anyone had any tips on taking down the Wailing Lord groups in the Chaos Planes. Im having trouble keeping health up. There isn't enough damage being dealt to trigger spirit bond. And also the Mindflay Spectres are giving me trouble. Having energy problems there. Any Help would be much appreciated.

why are you 600/smiting Chaos plains?

why not?? i dont see any rule that says i cant farm there. nothing wrong with a little variety in where i farm. it's actually quite fun and relatively easy to defeat the banished dream riders and mindblade spectres. and plus. both of them drop ectos.

Can you keep up Spell Breaker enough before they kill you with degen and constant interrupts? And you could take out mantra of resolve for frenzy and it might trigger spirit bond but then you're vulnerable to interrupts

spell breaker doesnt work against the mindflay spectres. they have signet of disenchantment. which goes right through spell breaker since it's a signet, not a spell.

ive tried spell breaker with the wailing lord groups but it doesnt stay up long enough for the two banished dream riders to go down so they wont strip my enchants. i even tried pulling over a group of mindblades to help with triggering spirit bond but even then wasnt enough. only tried that once tho.

it is possible I think. Maybe with Glyph of Swiftness. Not sure tough, but hey indeed why would you farm at mindblade spectres and erhm.. They dont have rip off enchant signet. Only cursed dream riders and Cursed Mindblade Spectres do. And talking bout the damage. Ever tough with no armor or 15 armor if you dont have it already.

maybe. ill check the glyph out. and i do farm the mindblades when im down there. it's just it would make it easyer to kill more of the mind blades w/ the wailing lord grp gone and not have to dodge him and all. and the mindflays. im curious bout the bone pits. i have to get thru a grp of mindflays to get there. so yeah. and plus. im always looking for a challenge.

so i had another idea the other day. wanted to get some input on it and all. what about using primal echos. makes the mindflays have to spend 10 nrg every time they use a signet. and i can just spam av/sv. the only problem i can think right now is when the mindflays first pop. the first grp of three is ok. being only 3 enchants being removed. but after that. pretty much all the enchants gonna be removed just from the amount of mindflays. just wondering if this tactic is feasible with some skill and practice of course.
